Advisory Board Member formerly at Heineken for 32 years in various positions within the Supply Chain and Sustainable Development groups.
Willem de Jonge is an Advisory Board Member and formerly with Heineken, a fast moving consumer goods company where he worked 32 years in various positions within the Supply Chain and Sustainable Development groups.
He gained experience in business administration as Senior Supply Chain Country Director for a business with more than 2000 employees and revenues exceeding $1 billion. During this period in his career, he also developed skills ranging from vision and strategy setting, operational excellence, people and change management, and simply getting things done.
Before leaving Heineken, Willem served as the Director Global Sustainable Development. In this role he developed a deep understanding and passion for sustainability with climate action and water management having been focus areas over the last few years.
Dutch by nationality, Willem worked in breweries throughout the Netherlands as well as abroad in Papua New Guinea, Romania, Belgium, and France. Willem has a master’s degree in technology from the University of Delft, the Netherlands. He currently resides in the Netherlands with his wife and two children. In his spare time, Willem enjoys being outdoors, biking, running, hiking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
