Tristan Steichen

With over 30 years of sustainability and management consulting experience, Tristan has provided sustainability services to a diverse portfolio of clients, from global to small and mid-sized organizations. He is experienced in working with corporate and senior leadership to provide strategic sustainability and resilience services as well as director-led implementation of sustainability programs and projects. His expertise spans a broad range of solutions, most recently on developing circular solutions and driving initiatives to eliminate waste, particularly in post-consumer applications.

Tristan is also the executive director of the National Lubricant Container Recycling Coalition and facilitates industry collaboration and collective action for the recovery and recycling of petroleum-based lubricant containers. Since March 2019, Tristan has also been the Chairman of the Governance Board and Strategic Advisory Committee for the REMADE Institute.

At SWCA, Tristan works with business leaders who are tackling today’s greatest sustainability and ESG challenges. SWCA’s approach is based on the understanding that when the economics work, the social and environmental benefits last. He provides impactful solutions that help clients effectively reduce risks and/or pursue opportunities related to their sustainability and business resilience strategies, plans, and programs in areas of product/packaging waste, decarbonization, and water security with a keen emphasis on translating sustainability’s benefits into tangible terms that business leaders can understand.
