
Jaap Eijzenga has been promoted to Scientific and Technical Services Vice President. In this role, Jaap will lead the project management, quality, field services, and technical publications leaders to achieve mutual goals and strategic initiatives for the science and technical team in cooperation with other departments across SWCA.
With over two decades of experience in wildlife ecology, Jaap has led various projects across the US and Europe, specializing in research, resource management, endangered species compliance and project management. His expertise includes over 20 years of managing and leading complex, multidisciplinary projects.
Jaap holds a BS in Wildlife Management/Conservation Biology from the Van Hall Institute and an MS in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology from the University of Hawai’i.
