
Lindsay Teunis has been promoted to Ecological Restoration Technical Director for the West Region. In this new role, Lindsay will lead the ecological restoration growth strategy for the region, serving as a subject matter expert and advisor to internal teams as well as new and future clients. She will focus on expanding and growing the ecological restoration service across strategic markets and a broad client base through training and mentorship, business development, cross-discipline collaboration and strategic hiring.
With more than 22 years of experience in environmental consulting, Lindsay specializes in ecology, restoration, aquatic resource assessments and mitigation program development. Over the past two decades, she has managed complex multi-benefit natural resource projects throughout California and across the West, with a focus on nearshore coastal systems, rivers and desert ecosystems.
Lindsay is known for facilitating creative solutions across agencies, municipalities, and diverse stakeholder groups to ensure project success and maximum ecological outcomes. Most recently she has invested her time in the environmental market space as a means of maximizing the use of private funding to expedite restoration with a particular focus on degraded public lands. She actively engages in the restoration industry and currently serves as the president for the California Society for Ecological Restoration (SERCAL) and is a board member on the international Society for Ecosystem Restoration (SER) Large Ecosystem Restoration Section.
