
Kayla Shockley has been promoted to Client Services Director - Power and Energy. In this role, Kayla will lead the nationwide energy strategy in collaboration with senior leadership, and drive business growth across our renewables, transmission, oil and gas, and mining energy market sectors. She will also oversee business development efforts, build strategic partnerships, and mentor teams while representing SWCA in the industry.
Kayla has over 16 years of environmental consulting and permitting experience and excels at creating innovative solutions to support client objectives while ensuring regulatory compliance. Over the past 10 years at SWCA, Kayla has served in a variety of roles, including most recently as principal client services lead for power & energy, focusing on business development in the Rocky Mountain Plains and North regions.
She has extensive experience managing multidisciplinary large-scale projects from pre- to post-construction and has served as cultural resources NEPA and NHPA lead on complex generation projects.
With a proven record of client satisfaction and development and implementation of strategic client-focused solutions, Kayla has played a key role in developing trusted advisor relationships and expanding service lines to best support our client’s projects and overall goals.
