Deborah Owens

As Chief People Officer, Deborah oversees the Human Resources team to ensure that all of SWCA receives the support needed for maximum employee engagement and business excellence.

Deborah’s experience includes people leadership roles within the transportation, construction, and staffing industries, as well as experience supporting student services, learning, and recruiting initiatives at Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University. Deborah holds a bachelor’s degree and MBA from Northern Arizona University. She is also certified by the Society for HR Management and has additional certifications in facilitation, leadership coaching, emotional intelligence, and learning & performance.
