David Briglio

Dave is SWCA’s Vice President of Engineering. In this role, Dave oversees the expansion of engineering operations, drives strategic initiatives, and ensures we continue to deliver top-tier service to clients.

Dave has 35 years of diverse experience in the engineering field. Early in his career, he focused on surveying, roadway and utility design, and construction management. More recently, he has shifted his focus to riverine modeling, watershed restoration, and developing stormwater management programs. In 2001, he earned his master’s degree from Georgia Tech with a focus on Water Resources.

Dave’s focus on business development and leadership has taken him to various locations, including Atlanta, Jacksonville, Baltimore, and most recently, Boston. He has experience working on high-impact restoration efforts, including the restoration of Chesapeake Bay and historic mills, as well as providing courtroom testimony and conducting forensic studies to support homeowners affected by development in floodplains.
