Amanda Childs is SWCA’s Vice President of the Pacific Northwest subregion. Amanda leads strategy, manages financial performance, client development, staff, and technical quality across the subregion that includes Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, and Alaska. She also drives cross-collaboration with other subregions to achieve SWCA’s goals.

Amanda has more than 25 years of experience in environmental consulting, including leading NEPA teams, natural and cultural resources management, engagement/outreach, leading teams, and business development. She joined SWCA in 2006 as a NEPA practitioner in our Salt Lake City office. Since then, she has worked her way up through SWCA in various leadership roles, most recently serving as the Director of the Pacific Northwest subregion.

Amanda earned her bachelor’s degree and a graduate certificate in NEPA from Utah State University.
