Recent court decisions and Corps/EPA guidance have created new requirements for wetlands delineation and permitting. As a professional involved in wetlands regulation, you need a good understanding of its basic principles as well as the latest developments and how they apply to your projects.

Webinar Topics: This four-hour webinar will review basic approaches to wetlands delineation, Section 404 permitting requirements, wetlands mitigation, state/local wetlands regulatory programs, and the critical wetlands web sites. This course will specifically address the practical implications of the recent Corps/EPA Rapanos guidance and compensatory mitigation regulations. Armed with this information, you will be well-equipped to tackle the wetlands challenges of today and tomorrow.

Instructor Brian Nicholson is a wetland resources and community participation specialist with over 13 years of domestic and international experience in collaborating with government agencies and community organizations on aquatic habitat assessment, wetlands monitoring, institutional development, natural resource-based tourism, and environmental education.
