Instructor: Dr. Richard Valdez is a fisheries and wildlife professional with over 35 years of experience throughout the western United States, Canada, and Alaska. He is a former U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service endangered species coordinator and a member of several recovery teams. He has participated in numerous recovery plannings, consultations, and permit development for threatened and endangered species.
