PHOENIX, AZ – SWCA Environmental Consultants, a firm that specializes in environmental planning, natural and cultural resource management, regulatory compliance and sustainability services, has acquired Environmental Performance Group. This partnership has created the SWCA Environmental Performance Group, a team of sustainability experts, environmental engineers, scientists, planners and regulatory specialists. The focus of this group is to help organizations develop environmentally responsible business practices that reduce impacts, improve financial performance, and add brand value.

The group offers a suite of sustainability services, including sustainability program development, greenhouse gas inventories, strategic management system development and other related sustainability and climate change services. Senior staff Richard Young, P.E. and Andrew Hultgren, C.E., based in SWCA's Salt Lake City office, are the core of the group, which provides services for public and private clients throughout the U.S.
