USFWS Awards Grants for Conservation

Apr. 20, 2007 -- Through a State Wildlife Grant program, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) will be awarding state and territorial agencies more than $60 million in support of conservation efforts for imperiled wildlife. The funds will be distributed among 56 agencies that have established comprehensive conservation plans, also known as wildlife action plans.
