Department of Interior
issues new NEPA regulations

On October 15, 2008, the Department of Interior issued new NEPA regulations that apply to all Bureaus within the Department. The regulations present important new or updated NEPA guidance on emergencies, categorical exclusions, contents of environmental assessments, adaptive management, and consensus-based management.
